orgpax: an overview

Orgpax are a growing inventory of generic tool-kits and exercises intended to help people in organizations manage what they want to manage successfully. Orgpax self-help tool-kits help organizations control their own change-process and…

  • are simple to follow, but comprehensive, self-help kits that provide a process-roadmap and tools to enable the average user to bring about organizational change

  • generally contain a full backgrounder, process flowchart, preparation checklist, reflection exercise/s, a step by step roadmap, tools and illustrations, and implementation considerations: where appropriate they also include historical parallels

  • include both a Team Leader and Team Member versions, the Team Leader being provided with full "how to" advice and a Word file ("Tools for your own process") of tools to chose from

  • generally exist in both English and French

  • come with an optional tool-kit support service and seminars

  • are generic, suitable for use in any work environment

  • are just-in-time and directly linked to meeting a need: no guessing as to whether that training program was really useful

  • encourage continuous learning: they're there when the individual needs them

  • can be customized for use in any particular organization or community change-plan

  • are the product of extensive R&D and many years of field-testing in a wide variety of organizational circumstances: they work

  • are inexpensive to purchase

They are practical tools to bridge the gap between expensive formal, classroom–type education/training courses and hard-to-find, overly generalized books and articles.

Orgpax also provide consultant supported diagnostic and problem-solving services.

Orgpax helps organizations to undertake change-processes internally, letting their employees learn and grow on the job, and often saving substantial external consulting / training fees in the process.  But they also suggest when and where in the process the internal team may want to hire outside help, helping organizations take charge completely of both the work and the budget.
